Weekend Sydney Beach Tandem Skydive
The Weekend Sydney Beach Tandem Skydiving experience allows
you to experience the thrill of freefall skydiving while taking in amazing views
to Sydney, the Royal National Park, Wollongong and the South Coast. Operating
on weekends and public holidays, the Sydney Beach Tandem Skydive is the ideal
way for a first time skydiver to experience the ultimate thrill of freefall.
No experience is necessary and almost anyone can do it!
Located at Wollongong, just 60 minutes south of Sydney, your Weekend
Sydney Beach Tandem Skydive will begin with a short 15 minute briefing.
Then its time leave the ground in one of our fleet of 4 aircraft and fly to
14,000ft. While attached to your tandem skydiving instructor you will leave
the aircraft, and freefall for approximately 60 seconds at around 200kph - making
this the ultimate adrenalin rush. Then your parachute will open and you can
spend time taking in the amazing coastal views this beach skydive has to offer
as you glide down to our drop zone next to Wollongong beach.
Conditions and Options
It is not advisable to skydive if you are pregnant, or have back, limb or joint
injuries. If you have concerns about your ability to participate safely, please
consult your doctor.
You must be aged 14 years or more (under 18’s must have a legal guardian
with them on the day of the jump). Maximum weight limit is 110 kg, surcharges
apply for participants over 95 kg. This is payable directly to Skydive The Beach
on the day.
Skydiving is weather dependent. In the case of poor conditions we will reschedule
your skydive for a later date.
This tandem skydive operates on weekends or public holidays from sunrise to
sunset. Allocate half a day as exact takeoff time depends on the winds! There's
lots to do in the area if you need to fill in a couple of hours.
Please note that no alcohol or recreational drugs are to be consumed at least
eight hours before your skydive. Australian Parachute Federation membership
is included in the price.
Upgrade your jump!
Using a specially mounted camera, our instructors can capture your entire skydive experience. From your briefing to the freefall and parachute ride, your adventure will be digitally recorded. Enjoy the action replay of your jump and laugh at the colourful comments and screams you didn’t even remember shouting!
